I went through 3 oil changes trying to get rid out the dreaded tick. Tried Rotella T-6, and a Wally World oil filter at about 4,200 miles after doing some research. Tick gone after a couple hundred miles. Now at 7,000 miles, and I haven't noticed any problems, or metal to metal sound. Hope this helps you.
