Hi to all fellow VLX riders.
I am an old skool 2 stroke "boy racer" from the early 80's, now in his 40's, that has recently moved in to a more comfortable ride by buying an all original condition 1988 VLX 400 Steed.
I am about to order an oil filter (KN-303) and other assorted parts.
I have been told by the shop I bought the scoot from that the 600cc version is exactly the same as the 400cc apart from bore size.
I wish to confirm this before I start ordering any stuff online for it.
Can any other 400/600 riders confirm that the 400 VLX is the same as the 600 VLX in every way except for the size of the bore in the motor.
