Eliminate rubber handlebar mounting?
These rubber mounted handlebars need to GO! I didn't mind it on my Aero, but that was a lot lazier of a bike than my 86 1100. I don't care about a bit of vibration, I care about precise steering control, and these are annoying!
It looks like it's just a rubber bushing in the triple clamps. So my first thought would be to use some big washers so instead of clamping on the inside sleeve of the bushing it would clamp on the actual triple clamp.
Anyone ever done this, or know of a easy kit? It would be nice having everything together before I rip into it.
Motorcycles are not a form of expression, if you want to express yourself, write a poem, if you want to ride, get a motorcycle.
