my second time ever on the highway it was rainy. i loved it.

bro, it's always gunna be windy, i drive the 05 version of your bike, and it handled highway like a champ. just go for it. give yourself a few car lengths in front, and watch out for traffic-weavers. a good bet is to keep yourself like 4 car lengths behind an 18 wheeler as noone is going to try to pass in front of you to get behind him.
