You should only be adding 1 oz of Seafoam per gallon of gas. The Seafoam will do it's magic over a period of time when mixed that way. If you only had a 1/4 of a tank of gas it sounds like maybe you added too much Seafoam. Fill the tank, add 3 to 4 oz's of Seafoam and give it some time and miles...
