Season End Checklist
1. Fill Gas Tank
2. Add Stabilizer
3. Drive a bit to mix stabilizer. Usually just home from gas station.
4. Wash / Wax / Dry / Leather conditioner
5. Shutoff petcock
6. Flush Brakes
7. Change filters and oil and topup battery
8. Plug in battery tender
9. Cover
Now the bike is prepped for riding once the weather cooperates.
I have used this procedure for a long time and have a 69 Bonny, 72 Norton Combat and 78 Gold Wing along with the Shadow and all the bikes start with first kick or starter button press in the spring.
