These are known for a ticking, usually due to the hydraulic valve lash adjusters. You might want to try some seafoam in the crankcase, run it for 30 miles or so, and then change the oil. The thought is that crud in the oil builds up preventing the adjusters from doing their thing.
Others have noted varying levels of ticking even just based on the brand and weight of oil used. What is you oil change routine and what oil do you use. Have you changed recently?
