there is a "ticking" sound coming from the right side of the crankcase on my 2007 Spirit VT750C2.

The predominant, and higher pitched, sound in the video is the ticking I am talking about, exhaust is in the background with lower tones.

I'm currently living in Norway and dealership service is beyond outrageous here (for comparison gas is around $11/gal) and I'd like to figure this out and take care of it myself if at all possible.

Anyone have any ideas, comments, thoughts, or suggestions?
Does the sound change at all if you hold the clutch in or work the rpm's up?
