also keep in mind diagnosing carbs is directly related to throttle position. at 1/4 if both cylenders are firing asume your pilots are ok (id set them at 3 1/4 turns out) and look towards your slow jets. make sure there is no deposits on your jet needles and use gasoline to clean the cv pistons (hopefully this will alow them to side better). also the path from the needle jet spiders off inside the carbs, make sure you blow these all out with compressed air. it took me 8 attempts to get mine cleanned out right last time.
