Air Gas is a welding supply store in Southern Indiana. I think that they are nation wide, but that is where I get it from.

A little late to the party, but as already said -- ride it, get it hot and scrape it up the best you can. Then use the oven cleaner with elbow grease.

As you can see below, I've had similar issues -- and had to buy the grand-daughter new nikes.....

There's a product called Road Rub which is made to clean chrome pipes. It looks like stick deordorant and you just rub it over the area. Nice part is it won't destroy the paint if you get overspray and you use it on cold pipes. I've used it quite a bit and it works really well.

Quite a few HD dealers sell it.
