Bikes Blues and BBQ 2013

Just curious who is going to BB&BBQ in NW Arkansas next week. I know there's a few people who live down that around there.

There is a good possibility that I will be heading down there on the bike on Wednesday and come back on Sunday. My parents live in the area and I haven't been down to see them in awhile so I thought it would be a good time to do it.

Way to far away for that, but it sounds like a blast.

Pfft. You're only a little farther north than I am.

Let me get this straight. You have an excuse to get out of IA and travel to some great biking roads and don't do that as often as possible? Thinking about a trip to Bentonville to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Ever since I bought my VTX, I have been slowly getting it set up for trips. Just have a couple of little things I am doing to the bike this week and it should be ready to go. (Like putting on the hard bags so I actually have storage.)

Since the first time I went down to Arkansas I've wanted to take a bike down there.

If that museum is the one I am thinking of, that's on my list of things to see down there. (Probably not this trip, though.)

I will be there again this year, I think I have been to this about 8 times. I will be leaving OK on the 16th, hope to see a few of you over there.

Ride Safe.

Things are on track for me being able to make it. Today I am trying to finish off the last of the things I need to do to get the bike ready.

I would have thought there would be more people going.
