You guys surely know this, but Gnarly is a hellofa guy.
Turns out he's practically a neighbor, being less than 60 miles away from me. We got to talking via PM, and he asked me what kind of parts I might need, while I am getting my old 1987 VT1100C back together.
this and that... he has this and that...
Next thing you know, he sends me a little care package with some nice, nearly new signal lights in it.
Gratis!
How nice is that? Quite a way to help out, and make a new member feel welcome.
I agree, Gnarly is a great guy and there are a few others here who, if they have it, you have it.
That being said, I would like to take my hat off to all members who share their expertise with those of us who are not so mechanically inclined. I would not be able to keep my bike on the road without the help from others on this forum.
Gnarly is a great guy! He has offered me parts on more than one occasion. I need to ride with him sometime soon. Seems like every time we try to set something up, one of us is too busy. More me than him.
Gnarly is one of my buddies too...
I`m sporting a full coverage helmet he sent me with my "Care Package", I wear whenever the need arises...
Just one of the Great folks onsite I`ve tried to meet up with too, BUT...
That head can't get any bigger!
I truly hate I didn't think beforehand to try to get to meet you. I guess I had a brain fart. I had known for weeks I was going, but had so much to get done, the idea never entered my mind until I was in Louisville.
Next trip somewhere I will try to do better...
Just who is this Gnarly dude you speak of? Is he a new member? lol Actually he has sold me a few items as well at unbelievable prices. And I will be getting another package from him tomorrow. He really is great guy. I hope to be able to thank him in person one day.
