Front fender question

I'm looking at an 01 750 ACE, with 25,000 miles on it. Overall nice condition, new tires and a recent service at a Honda dealer. The front fender has a few scratched about 2 or 3 inches on the tip of it. A new fender is about $200 but I was wondering if threr is a way to cover the scratches up. Maybe a chrome fender trim or a leather fender bra. I saw a fender bra for a Harley but can't find one for a Shadow.
Here is a picture of the bike but the scratches do not show up in the picture

If the bike is a good deal I would not let that stop me from buying it. My fork bag is messing the paint up on my fender,,,just gonna get a leather piece to cover it with.

Touch up paint stick from Honda is about $10 and works well with excellent color match.

Here is the fender tip I had on my ACE. Not exactly sure where your scratches are located or if it will cover them, but it's about the only option that I know of that you wouldn't have to make. Flipping the fender looks weird, when I bought my bike the front fender was flipped around. It took me a while of hating the look until I figured out why it looked like that.

Scratches on the fender? NO Don`T Do it!!!

150,000 miles later, there`s more scratches on mine than when it came off the floor

Scratches, = SCHMATCHES,

If it really bothers you so much, why not just repaint it? If it's not showing up in the pictures, it can't be that bad.

I got a dent in my tank from a crash a few years ago. Here was my solution.

It doesn't show up in that picture that was the one posted with the listing but the owner e-mailed me a picture and there are about 3 inches long and about 1 inch wide ( I can't find the picture now) I'm kind of a nut for clean spotless vehicles. I wash my bike after every ride, from top to bottom and use simple green and a tooth brush on the bottom of the motor. But I did find what I was looking for, a leather bra to put on the front fender if I decide not to buy a new fender. Here it is

This is my 02 Wing, the front rim is NOT chrome, i just polished it

Underneath my 08 wing with over 30,000 miles on it
