I believe it was 95-97 Ace Shadows. I know mine is a 97 and it is the single crank pin. (love the sound with drag pipes )

97 Ace 1100 (mine)
07 Suzuki LS650 (wifes)

My boss has a 2000 Sabre and it's single pin.
I've got a 2002 Aero and it is a dual pin. We've got the same after market pipes and his sounds a bit heavy or louder than mine. The dual pin is suppose to have a bit less vibration.

My 2000 Aero is single-pin and I've been told that was the last year for them.

The 2000 Sabre has a dual pin crankshaft. Maybe your boss tuned his idle down a little.

'00 Sabre

It's been the worst day, since yesterday.

Sabres are indeed dual pin same as the Spirits, Sabres are geared lower for more off the line omph which is why some think they are buzzy at higher rpm ( and opinion I disagree with )

Skulz..it ain't just a bike thing to me
