Default VT750CA Mods

Hi, All.

I have been searching for some mods for my bike. An Aero VT750ca

Is the VT750C & VT750ca the same when it comes to parts or accessories?

What does the "CA" stand for?

Want to know because all the places I look up parts, state "VT750" and don't mention the "CA"

Looking @ getting some Pipes and maybe the Kuryakyn Hypercharger.

Haven't decided on the pipes, I like the way the Vance & Hines Cruzers look.

I want some pipes that are not too loud, but are still loud enough.

Thanks.

Make sure you order parts according to your Model number, (2007 VT750C2 for example) because if you do not then you may and will get wrong parts and have to wait needlessly for the proper ones to come in

Hi,

I know that my bike is a 2004 Aero VT750ca, Shaft Drive.

However, I was looking @ service manuals today and they have a service manual for the 2004-2008 Honda Shadow Aero VT750C.

What is the difference between the Aero 2004 VT750C & Aero VT750ca?

Already have that same one downloaded onto my desktop, however can't find in the manual if there is a difference between the VT750C and VT750CA for parts, etc.

I found Honda East Superstore selling a service manual that listed both the 2004-2008 VT750C & VT750CA Shadow Aero.

At least I now know that they must be the same when it comes to maintenance, if they are listed in the same service manual.

I am sure they are the same for parts.

Thanks.

Somewhere a while ago, I read (I think - cant hold me to it) that the CA is the emission standards version for California. could be wrong but I know there is a difference in the models sold.

Thinking about it, the California thing makes sense.

I will look @ the bike closer and see if it has the Evap Canister. If so, then the CA would stand for California, if not, then it has either been removed or it is not the California model.

Thanks.

Hi.

Well, don't know if the CA stands for California.

I looked on the bike and cannot find any evap canister as required for California emissions, so I would assume its not the California model.

I guess someone out there may no what the CA stands for.

Thanks.

Default CA

It's a California model. It is what I have except mine is a 2006. There should be a canister and 2 extra in line filters. Ask your Honda mech, he should be able to show you what to look for.
