Most here don't like dunlops and swear by Metzlers. I like my Pirellis, just don't assume all "new" tires deliver the same performance.

Wait, doesn't Pirelli make Metzler?

Or I've lost my mind. It could be either.

Anyway yeah, learn to push right/turn right and push left/turn left and keep your knees tucked. Unless you're riding a sport bike, and then you're on your own.

Sounds like you did a solid job of responding and not over reacting. As a returning rider, I struggle not to over react to challenging conditions. Keep it up and you'll be an experienced rider

Wow very scary- glad you were the only bike on the road when you crossed the line, and that you are okay.

Thanks for sharing this experiance- as a new rider, i pay attention and try to learn from everyone here.

Good job coming home alive!

How'd you hurt your knee? I'm having a tough time picturing that one... Your insight might be helpful

Thanks for posting, Glad to hear your not hurt any worse than you are. I got caught in a fast moving thunderstorm yesterday and it came in fast! Wind was howling, Rain was stinging, and road got very slick FAST! I realised real quick I need more experience in quick changing weather conditions!
