Forum Changes

Attention all members:

As part of the ongoing evolution of the forum there is going to be a change made to the off topic section. This change is that it will now be a permission only section of the forum.

Meaning, the membership will need to ask for and be granted permission to access this particular forum section. Conversely, those members who insist on violating the posting rules, trolling, or who are generally only there to disrupt the enjoyment had by others can and will have their permission revoked from the off topic forum. Further disruptions on other sections of the forum would likely result in a total banning.

Will this mean that the off topic forum will be changing into an "anything goes and if you don't like it then don't come here" section? The answer is an emphatic NO. The existing posting rules will remain consistent, at least for the time being. Please keep in mind that the existing rules and type of moderation is based on and in response to the behavior of -you-the forum members. Simply put, treat one another with respect, don't troll the forum, don't use it as your own political or religious message delivery system and things may change.
