I see it this way......motorcycles are a dangerous gig. Anyone that rides should be aware of that fact. It is 100% up to the rider to be aware and to keep himself alive.

When I become so afraid of getting hurt or dead on a motorcycle that I have to wear day-glo colors whenever I ride, I'll sell the bike and spend the rest of my miserable existence hiding under my bed.
A big part of riding a motorcycle is the danger, the freedom, the devil may care attitude of rough men living on the edge. You can't have the reward without the risk. Some things should not be made safe. It removes the flavor.

As usuual, you all have the right to feel differently, but that won't stop me from feeling a little sad for you, as you neon day glo by.
I agree with this...

Unfortunately the laws are going to change, and like helmets dayglow will soon be compulsory..

so what do you do..give up biking and let the powers that be chase you off the road..or dress like a telly tubby and keep riding..

John.

John.
Unfortunately some mindless politician is going to see riders with this gear on and says to himself, "This would be a great proposal for ME to bring up @ the next session." Thank you Hi Vis folk.

The hell with safety equipment. I just want to wire my bike with enough explosives to take the SOB with me.
