I have to make better use of the showroom/warehouse here for Competition Accessories, the savings on shipping meets or beats the price down to make it worthwhile going there.,,note to self, check compacc.com

BUY LOCAL! Give the local shops a chance. Some will match online proces, some will just flat tell you that they cant. My local guy was within $6 on the ME880s for my bike and that was within the cheapest online prices! And that $6 was worth saving the extra $20 for the mounting they would have charged me if I had brought them to them.
The locals are supporting YOUR economy in YOUR area, pay them, they keep supporting, pay someone online all of the time, you lose your local shops because they are out of business! I will buy online if I have to, I have 3 AWESOME shops, all are about 15-30 miles from me, all 3 support the many many bike nights, they give to our local charities, they plan/sponsor rides for these charities and they are our riding buddies.
Dennis kirk will treat you right if you just have to order online, but suport your locals first!

Same here. Might check their "preferred installer" for mounting also. Rocky Moutain is another.

yep. well put coop. help out the local shops, and they'll be there when ya need 'em. i know a lot of people do their own work on their bikes on this forum... but there are a lot that don't. my point is that if you don't support the local shops by buying accessories, tires, parts, etc then it's hard for some of them to just survive on the dirty work like repair... resulting in goin' out of business. then there isn't anyone to fix your bike. if a customer is good to us.. then we are good to them. that's just a natural reaction. we give out freebies to good customers too.
