Default New Tires and a shout out!

Got new tires this weekend, actually purchased them last year with the intention of putting them on myself, just never pulled the trigger for a lift. Anyway, got the new Metzler ME880s on and boy does she ride fine now. Smooth as butter and grippy, I love em. Although I did bump the tire size up a size in the rear (nope did not help the speedo issue, still 55 when the speedo shows 60).
I also gotta give a shout out to GP Cycle Sports in Yorkville, IL. Awesome job, the guy knows his stuff and was quick about it. Pulled the bike in at 8 and was out a little after 9, and that was with me yapping up a storm with him. I knew from the moment he went to the toolbox that he knew his stuff, without looking he grabs the right tool and just go to cranking on the rear axle with me yapping away talking about this and that, awesome guy to have working on your baby.
Not to mention the price, like I said pulled the bike in he pulled the tires put the new ones on after checking the balance, out the door $70. Even told him that when we talked on the phone he quoted me $75 and I agreed to pay that price he didn't want it, I know its just $5 but that really tells me about the guy. If you live in or around the area, even if you have to ride 100 miles, I highly recommend him.

Wish I would have found someone this awesome to do my tires. Called the service department 3 times before getting ahold of anyone, was quoted $35 a tire, ending up being $45 a tire, and took them a day and a half to do it. Said they would call when it was finished, called 3 more times to ask someone IF it was finished, then was charged an additional $2 per tire for disposal fee (that wasn't included in the quote). Very nice people, just disorganized I guess....
