I had a proper swirl job once at a professional establishment. She was great, it was a memorable experience, and she did not leave any marks.

I found an excellent way to clean my bike. I completely disassemble it and run the parts through the automatic dishwasher. Done weekly, no scrubbing.

Really? Now why go and waste a perfectly good waterfall?

Thank you for that. I was beginning to think I was the only one here with a filthy mind, and considering some of the residents that is a pretty shocking thought.

Or maybe they avoided the draft.

I don't wash mine because I keep up on it. My bike was just painted so I haven't done anything as far as wax yet but this bike last year and my prior bike I used 2 coast of Mequiars wax then two coats of Wizards Shine Master Wizards Products Store :: Automotive :: Appearance Products :: Shine Master Polish 16 oz. After an application of Mequiars and Wizards ever Friday I would use Mequiars quick detailer to shine the tins and a spray product that I bought at a bike show (and can't remember the name) to polish the chrome.

Wizards Shine Master is amazing. I first discovered it when a detailer at my marina used it to make an old boat look new. We were all amazed and approached him to find out what he used. I then used it on all of my cars and the result was amazing. The past two years I've used it on my boat (2 coats of 3M boat wax and 2 coats of Wizards Shine Master). Both years my boat went the entire season without needing additional waxing. Normally after a few months the boat starts to loose it's shine but not since I started using Wizards. Last year I started using it on the bike.

Nice work, Greg, but you missed a spot...
Just kidding... that is a great colour to enhance the shine on too!

Some people in here, admitted to using dishsoap, but avoid this if you can... Dishsoaps can actually strip any waxes or protectants on your paint... maybe good as a preseason cleaner, before doing a full detail. I have done the Lemon pledge for the last few months, and it is quick and shiny... I also have a quick detailer, Autoglym rapid detailer, that leaves a nice shine, that I used before the pledge and the pledge does just as good a job... will try that all purpose one though, to cover more parts...
Bought some S100 at the end of last season, which I haven't used yet, but will try very shortly! Some great tips in here...
