Finally picked up my bike today around 10:30am
First time I've been on the street for almost 20 years. All I can think to myself is why have I waited so long to get back on! Wasn't the greatest day for a ride, 46 degrees and light drizzle, wet roads and visor the whole way but it was still a great ride, if ya know what I mean! Took my time for the most part and got to know my new bike. 1100VT is a lot more giddyup and go that the last time around, but damn I think I'm in love with this bike! Tomorrow's weather is looking good so I hope to get some miles on tomorrow. Plus I plan on riding to work whenever the weather is dry and above 50, so that'll be 110 miles round trip every day Sad that I've waited this long to get back on a bike, but I'm grateful I took my time doing it. had I rode 10 years ago the outcome may have not been so good. With age comes wisdom.

Congrats to you and nice bike.
If i had started riding at a younger age, i'm not sure i could have ever stoped. I started riding at 40 and am working hard to stay in shape so I have many many many years left to ride, God willing.

Congrats on the new bike man looks great, and welcome back to the open road! Weather has been the same here but, I just put insurance back on my bike yesterday and am taking any possible opportunity to ride..bit of rain isn't too bad thankfully even with a half helm.
I know everyone has their own reasons for quitting but, I hope I never have to make that decision. Feels like that's all I live for any more, just getting on and riding, even if it's just into town for some smokes before work. Grey/white hairs here since early 20's, and they keep coming! Only 28 now.
