I love the new pipes and think they really add to the bike. Very nice!
This is an open forum. I can state my opinions all I want. I really don't see muscle cars being a problem. As for HD, they garner my disapproval also.

You have your opinion concerning loud pipes and that I respect (Biker Code). But to lump my ol' grumpy biker self into "you reflect poorly on the rest of us" is something I will not honor. Davelisowski, you continue to personalize your bike and share your mods. 'Nuff said. Time to ride.
You remind me of Dudley in Wild Hogs. Biker code my ass. You can have it. I prefer to be a motorcyclist.

i didn't know this was blowing up... i've been out on the bike

thanks to all who agree - you ride what you ride.

so fine, you don't like loud pipes or are afraid of the color black, or worried what some cager's opinion about you is... whatever. we're all riders.

i'm not counting on any bike mod to 'save' me from anything. that always boils down to how you ride and respond to what happens.

my god, would you guys have a 5 page conversation if someone swapped out their pegs for floorboards? or leather saddle bags for hard-shell ones?

uh yup..lol..hell,there's several pages on "do you wave or not?"..everyone has different views and opinions on things. personally i dont care if a person has loud pipes or stock..its all preference..ive always liked loud exhaust whether 8in stacks on big trucks or 4 inch tips on my pickup or straight drag pipes on my bike..to each his own. your bike sounds good as long as you like it thats all that matters.

You're right, it is an open forum, however, you can't say whatever you want, the fact that your post hasn't been edited, or you haven't been warned, or banned for language, blows my mind... I know of several stand up guys who voiced opinions with no cursing and were banned for stating their opinion... mods must like your stance...
And you see no problem with Muscle Cars, with their loud exhausts, revving engines, older classics spewing garbage in the air with their carburated engines, doing the same "fwap fwap fwap" and the drivers having the need to show their bravado as well, with a well timed "vroom" on the gas pedal, followed by a lengthy squeal of a rubber peel?
I see no problem either, but I like that, as well as the loud pipes... to each their own.

Like I said, I do not see muscle cars as being a problem. Bikes with loud pipes far out number muscle cars.

That's right. When you stoop to name calling, that is personal. Hence, personal attack. That's the difference in my posts. They were not personal.
