Default New pipes! 8D

So the new pipes are installed. With the proper tools and some patience, I got them installed in about 2 hours.

Washed the bike, especially the heat shields to remove any grease or oil or dirt, and then fired it up. Ooooh man!

So I have a link to the photos, and I'll try to get links to the videos asap.

Test ride was great. Went to Howard's Honda for a new oil plug bolt. Rode home. Very little issue, some minor popping on decelleration, but it was great. 8D

Popping on decel means it is running a bit lean with the new pipes. Turn the air/fuel screws out about 1/8 turn at a time until it goes away. Very nice looking pipes, good job.

i appreciate it everyone! i'm so glad i ride a motorcycle now.

i didn't do any re-jet. i did some adjusting on the air/fuel mix but i'm running through a tank of gas before i dig into the engine.

i have a feeling i'm going to replace the sparks and wire to each, and i need to go through the tubes and connectors. Things just get worn. So when I do that, I'll look into re-jetting.

What? It takes ****** sounding loud pipes to make you glad you ride a noise maker? Here's an idea, why don't you and everybody else that insists on putting these horrendous sounding pipes on a bike, take 'em off and use 'em for a boat anchor! Loud pipes suck!

Hey, millions of Scots enjoy the sound of bagpipes, and I understand that Vlad the Impaler was very fond of the screaming of his victims. Goes to show it takes all kinds.
