Well, I quickly moved on from the VLX. I really loved the bike and wish I could keep it too but the shaft drive, bigger motor, and price persuaded me otherwise. I got a 2007 Shadow Aero 750 yesterday... The mileage was a little high at 18000 but it runs perfect. It was really dirty but it cleaned up spotless, only had a couple of spots on it that didn't look too good. One is the front fender, the guy had some truck horns ziptied to the frame by the radiator and when he hit bumps, they rubbed the fender and scuffed it but that should buff out. I took the horns off, they were ugly lol. The other is underneath the rear seat where there were saddlebags. Other than that, it was in great shape. Here's some pics! And and I'm in need of a stock horn and bracket if anyone has a spare laying around.
