If the offer is still open, let me know. I am interested in reading the book and I could take it south when finished. DC and Virginia are just a ride away. Just letting you know.

I'd like to meet up with Toadshoney, and then get the book off to you.
I would very much like to read Johns book.

Well I have been reading the book and some great pics in there and interesting sights, Signed and dated in the back cover and should be ready to pass to Toadshoney (Dean) hopefully in the next week or two.

I was kinda hoping we could do this. Be nice to not have the book make enormous leaps, but small skips across this great country of ours. The more that participate, the better.

I'll be there, I dont like the rain though, so I hope its a nice weekend.
be nice to put it through as many states as possible as well.

we'll figure out a good spot. I got a buddy in that area I'd like to see too, so maybe he can join us, I will try to get the wife to come too, maybe her ACE will be road worthy. if not, she loves her VLX, and its got the bags on it.

I'll jump back into the fray. If the book is in the right area at the right time, I will certainly help move it along. Handoff opportunities:

- Paulie and I are planning a ride through VA and NC for early June (between June 6 and 15, exact dates TBD) with our starting point somewhere around Elkins/Franklin WV. C Nile may be joining us. We'll be going down the Blue Ridge Parkway for some (yet undefined) distance.

- The Niagara (aka Canadian) Rally is in late August. Paulie and I will be meeting up with ptgb and his wife in central PA a couple of days before heading for the border.

- The East Coast Rally will be in Franklin, WV in September. I don't know all who will be there but I am confident we'll have someone from FL.

I'll keep watching this thread but my ventures onto the board are sporadic.

We exchanged PMs; the handoff from me to you will be June 2. I will be headed out I-84 to Sranton and then south on I-81. My timing from my house is usually 4-4.5 hours from my house to the I-80 exchange, should be there about lunchtime or so. You said anywhere between Scranton and Gettysburg, pick a spot and we'll get this done.

I'll be glad to help move it into Texas. I'm in the northeast part of the state.
