I'm good to go on the 2nd, and will start to look for a good place to meet, did you make plans to get the book?

I'd like to see it moving a little quicker too. Let's try to get the Northern states before the white fluffy stuff starts coming down again. It can spend the winter down south.

I don't know where the book will be in early June but I'll be in Elkins, WV on the 7th, somewhere along the Blue Ridge Parkway (Hillsville, VA?) on the 8th then Boone, NC on the 9th -- possibly Shady Valley, TN and Galax, VA later on the same day. I'll be riding with a member from DE. Another member from OH will be in Marion, VA that weekend.

I just read and answered Dauntae's PM. I will be making an effort to get to Newport on Saturday, but it's short notice on Mother's Day weekend and I have my wife to think of.

I realize that it's taking a while to get this moving along, however I haven't heard any one else in New England speak up. New Hampshire to Massachusetts to Connecticut is a pretty good start. New Jersey is next and there is a probable pass to Maryland from there.

My pass to Scrapdog2grand is set for June 2. Sorry it can't be sooner, but that is when I'm headed south.

Any one between Scrapdog2grand and I that wants to participate, speak up and I will get it to you sooner. Just commit to getting it to Scrapdog2grand next as he has been able to commit to a meeting.

Bikers by nature are an independant bunch and getting schedules set in stone is difficult. Maybe someone needs to take on the role of organizing this a little more formally and go back through the thread and coordinate all the "...I will be in..." offers. If not it's gonna be a very slow march. It's a big country!

Good news. Dauntae and I will meet up on Friday May 18 in Newport RI.

I will pass it on to Scrapdog2grand on June 2.

Anyone who might be interested in being involved in either pass, stay tuned and time and actual location will be forthcoming.

Dean

I am in south central PA and could meet up with someone to move the book along. I am halfway between Harrisburg, PA and Baltimore, MD. I took part in moving Woody's Journal, and would like to participate in this as well. Let me know. Thanks.

Omega98-
Check in with Scrapdog2grand. He will be getting the book from me on June 2. He offered to get it to MidalySr in Baltimore (see post 92). Maybe the three of you have the next passes set up.

I don't mean to ignore the others who have spoken up of late, just keep following along and try to jump in when you can.

Hey dean, Friday is looking like a great day for riding, I've been looking on line for some good food in Newport Found this place that looks good with decent prices with both steak to seafood. Let me know what you think or any other places that might look good to you. Looking to meeting up again.
