Never lost a wallet as I've been wearing a chain for years. Sucks when I have to change wallets for those corporate 'dress up' functions.

Stopped to get gas once and a guy said he really liked the looks of my bike. He asked me where I got the bag attached to my back rest. I turned to look at my bike and said, "Bag hell! Where's the b##ch that was on the seat?" I never did see her again. Oh well...lost that one; at least my wallet was secure.

Good story, I watched a TV show last night called "What Would You Do" And I was also impressed with how most people did the right thing is situations like this. I ditched the wallet years ago. Just use my pockets. I don't have to much money to carry around anyway unfortunatly. lol

I just use my pockets also, however, this morning, I had to throw away a $20 bill just to have enough room for my pocket knife!!! Lol!! Ride safe!! Cowboy

thanks for this thread... looked round a bit last night for a chain wallet... I havent used one in a few years, and figured it would be a valid "investment" if it meant keeping my cash where it belongs when riding.

Nice story!

Never found a wallet or lost one.

I always keep my wallet/phone/cash in my front pocket, 'cause the bump in my back pocket, hitting the seat, is uncomfortable, for me.

I lost several items as a Motorcycle rider, a pack of cigearettes, a watch and a fresh bought "lid"...

~ Last week I had my wallet stolen several times on accounta these women ~

Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping
your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look.

When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot. You agree and they get in the backseat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen Jan 4th, 9th,10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th and 29th. Also Feb 1st, 4th, twice on the 8th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this upcoming weekend. So tell your friends to be careful.

P.S. Walmart has wallets on sale 2.99 each

I don't keep anything in my pants pockets when riding, it all goes into my inner pockets of my leather jacket or in my bag.

Never lost a wallet I've carried in my front pocket since my military days. Hate sitting on the damn thing.

on a side note,i found a wallet when i was in 2nd grade,it had about $120 in it..my older brother and i looked in the wallet for a drivers license and didnt find any id what so ever..another kid had seen us looking at it and went and told the principal who came out and just took the wallet out of my hand...later in the day a miracle happened,lol..they found out that it belonged to a guy who was in a car accident earlier that morning in front of the school..for finding it i got $5.00...i still wonder to this day if the guy actually DID in fact get his money and wallet back.

all my wallets has always had a chain every since i was 8 or 9yrs old.
Given most school principals I dealt with growing up .. not taking those odds.
