It's 3 am and I just recieved news that one of my best friends and neighbors died in a car accident tonight, he was 20. spent a lot of years with this kid and after my wreck last week this is really hitting home. It's really putting just how close I came into perspective. I feel like I dodged a bullet and he took it. Tell the ones you love today because this last week has shown me just how quickly they can be taken away...

Thanks guys...he was the first to go from our graduating class....I'll be back on the bike next week. But I think if there was ever a time to take a little break from riding this is it. Just too much going on in my head to be able to focus on riding safely. I know there are others on here who have lost friends to the road and it may just be me but even though he was in a cager I feel God holds a special place for people who die such violent and spontaneous deaths.
