My friend Mike owns one. He bought it when they first came out. He has over 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I've ridden it. I like it, but I'd much prefer to own a new Stateline.

THis... I was going to say the same thing, they are sharp looking, but the new 1300's, particulary the stateline are sweet... and there should be lots offered in the wqay of aftermarket accessories.

i know no one asked for my opinion but im not a fan of the new 1300 line up. I think that the fury is impractical but i'm not a chopper fan and the interstate and new sabre are ugly in my opinion. I like the old vtx 1300's so much better.

I think the problem everyone has with the new line of honda cruisers is that cruisers in general are an old design. People tend to resist change and these bikes stray away from that classic cruiser design. Some people don't like that. It's similar to Harley Davidson. Their hands are pretty much tied because they've created a demographic of riders with a very narrow minded perception of what is acceptable in a motorcycle. Personally, I think the direction honda is going is pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to a test ride later this month. If not for the price, I'd get one. Unfortunately, VTX's are just now getting to a range that I'm willing to pay for a toy. I've got a few years before a stateline becomes available.

I sat on a 2010 Fury and that thing was comfortable for what looks like a custom bike... very impressed. I wouldn't want to take it on trips simply due to the design but for a daily city driver the thing seems like it would be great!

I jumped on it at a local dealer and the whole 1300 line justs seems a bit too long and bit too low. It was almost like sitting on a slab of plywood with handlebars. Not sure I am a fan other than appearance wise.
Inside, however, I like them a lot because they bring a reliability to the "custom" market that hasn't really been there. Choppers tend to be a PITA when it comes to mechanical soundness and yet Honda was able to pull it off. Damian
