Mine are Saddlemen Jumbo throw over bags. Same as in one of the earlier replies but one or two sizes up. Depending on the size of the jacket, you might have a hard time with a smaller bag. My leather jacket takes up most of one bag. There's a little space left over for a pair of gloves but that's about it. I did have to move the turnsignals in order to mount the bags far enough back to keep them off the shocks. This is my second set of Saddlemen bags. My only complaint is that they require two hands to open due to the super extra heavy duty velcro they used. Of course, this does keep the bag from flying open if I forget to latch it, though.

I have Viking Dynamites
DYNAMITE MOTORCYCLE SADDLEBAGS

No complaints here. I did loose some hardware but called them up and they shipped me a replacement set and an extra set for free even though there is no warranty on them. Mine are 2 years old.

I am a big dude. 280lbs 6ft 2. I can get my jacket and chaps into one bag.

In 95 the rear turn signals were mounted on the side of the rear fender so not much room for any size bag. I moved the turn signals to the license plate frame and then could not find a bag as large as I wanted. I was used to the Goldwing Krauser hard bags. I ended up making my own bags and matching toolkit for front forks. The leather shop had a pattern for saddlebags fo HD. So I just bought the leather, some buckles, a punch, "thread" and needle and dye and spent a bunch of hours one winter and made the bags and toolkit. Totally custom and totally unique. I mixed black and brown dyes to get a deep chocolate brown since all I ever saw was black. I mounted them where the turn lights were originally. After a few years I wanted them to remain more full so I fibreglassed the inside bottom to keep them from collapsing.

I also went with the Tsukayu Jumbo Strong Hardbags. I made the decision to get the LED turn signals rather than relocate the ones on the bike. I paid $700-something for the painted black. They were a PIA to mount and I'm still not thrilled with way they mount but so far I'm thrilled with the bags.

Cool Hondaline

And they cost a bundle....I had to second mortgage the house....The brackets are seperate but they come with a helmet lock that replaces the factory lock since you can't get to the original. They think of everything...

Saddleman Drifter's. They are the 15" model and I did move the turn signals. They lay perfectly between the shock and turn signal. I got them from DennisKirk for around $130. Very good quality as far as I can tell. Rigid construction so they hold their shape and they are removable with twist locks inside the bag. The buckles are for looks only, there are hidden lockable quick clips underneath them.

I have HD saddlebags....the same ones that come on the Hertiage Softail model, soft leather, mine aren't lockable, but you can buy a package to install that makes them lockable, you can take mine off with the removal of 2 bolts! I love my saddlebags, they are big, but I don't think they look too big for the bike . I got mine on ebay for $250.00-$300.00US...don't go to a dealer, my local dealer wanted $800.00CD for the same thing!
