I cant believe I am posting this garbage and I do apologize, but....
With the ignition on the side of my 750 I dont want anything attached to my key that will hang off and potentially scratch, melt, snag, etc... I was wondering what some of you are using on and for a key chain... anyone have any good ideas?

I have an 02 ACE. When I got it the key was on a soft rubber fob from the dealer. I thought it would be ok but I was wrong. It marked the side cover all to ratshit. Now I have nothing on it but the split ring that the fob was attached to. I'd like to have something on it just to make the key a bit easier to find in a pocket, but I'm not gonna do it.

Eh not worried about it myself, have my bike key on with all my other keys, including job for the cage.

yeah Im just using a key and ring.... nothing on it.
no extra keys to limit scratches... no lanyards to prevent snags... no cheap foam/leather tags to prevent burning/melting them... but dang my key can be tough to find and hold onto.... I was hoping there was something obvious that I was simply overlooking... I guess I do have a couple of these in the bottom of a tool box... even if long enough I would still be worried about scratches though.

sent this question over to my great aunt.... she's like 65 and still rides and parties on the tables at the local bar... she mentioned that one of the leather braided cords would be best.
- trying to find one I like for the right price now....
