Raw video: Dangerous Victoria motorcycle ride hits 299 km/h (186 mph)

Last week we had this report:
The officers clocked the Aston Martin at 265 kilometers an hour, the Audi R8 at 176. It was raining at the time.
The drivers were given fines of just under $500 each. Unconfirmed reports tell Global News that they are students between the ages of 19 and 21, and apparently they are not Canadian citizens and were just visiting the Vancouver area.

The Audi and Aston are about $150,000 each, so the fine is .3% of the value. The equivalent to me on my $12,000 Shadow would be about a $40 fine

It was you!

Eh nothing new though, if the dude wants to take the risk so be it. Aside from that, if any government wants to prevent people from speeding then, they should impose manufacturers to have a lower speed governor. Even then, people tend to remove those so, what can ya do.

What was worse was last year and those kids driving exotics with Class 7 licenses, racing through the lower mainland. 30 day impound and some fines, big whoop.

That reminds me of my morning commute!

OK...I only do 85mph between cars, not 186mph...

Seriously - that was crazy.

These are the kinds of things that give all motorcyclists a bad reputation.

Where's that off-duty cop who pulled that dude over for doing a wheelie at only 110 MPH and pulled his gun him when you really need him?

Yea, OK.
That's like saying prostitutes give all women a bad reputation.
