As long as the fuel was ethanol free you should be good to go just to run it through. Ethanol has a 90 day shelf life so if it you can't get gas without ethanol around there I would drain the carbs and tank. I took my fathers old boat that had set for 5 years with fuel in the tanks and put it in the water and ran the old fuel out. Put new fuel in and it didn't know the difference. That was gas without ethanol though. I have run a few tanks of fuel through the boat since.
