Talking Gear Haters Need Not Reply

Woo Hoo! I got my New Jacket via UPS today! Can't wait to try it out tomorrow! It's a Cortech GX Air Mesh/textile. 3 in 1. It fits perfect! It looks cool as hell!

Next, I'm looking to get some mesh over pants. That way I can wear shorts in the summer under the pants. Anybody got any suggestions on a brand?

Dave.

I like my Cortech jacket. Mine has a removable liner also. It is a GX Sport Series 2. I just need to figure out how to wash it I have been wearing it for 4 years now.

Either of you know of any good mesh jackets for wide guys? I have a double xl Bilit jacket but it's seriously snug in the stomach/arms and the sleves hang way too low.

I miss my heavy leather jacket but I love my 3 in 1 Tourmaster Sonora. I leave the liners in the bags so there's never a worry about weather. Cooling down, add the cold weather liner, rain, add the rain liner. nice part about the Air type jacket is they dry so fast!!! Can't say that about my old heavy leather!

Jstans84, check tourmaster, They got BIG sizes

Check out Motorcycle-superstore. Here is a Cortech one. They have most the brands. I usually wear a Large in shirts but I had a friend who had the same jacket I wanted in a Medium and I tried it one and it fit me well. I gained some weight and made it tight on the stomach but I have lost that weight and it is loose on the stomach again. I am on Herbalife products for losing weight and lost 23 lbs in 6 weeks. I am trying to lose another 15 to 20 lbs. Then I will buy a new wardrobe and get rid of my big stuff so I won't have the old clothes to grow back into. I am only 5'4" and stocky but I have weighed 200 lbs and been as light as 168 lbs in the last 15 years. I am trying to break below 160 lbs this time.

That looks just like the one I got! Same color and everything.
The label inside mine says to machine wash on cold, Don't put in in the dryer or have it dry cleaned. Have to let it drip dry.
Doesnt say if you have to take out the armor liners, I guess maybe thats why it says not to put it in the dryer. I think the foam could melt.

That's what I'm looking forward to. Spring in OKC is cold in the morning, then hot in the afternoon and you never know when it will start raining. So, now I'm prepared!

The Air Mesh is basically the same but uses some different fabric. Mine is also has the zippered vents. My white sections are pretty dingy and it doesn't smell real good after last summer sweating in it real bad. They have come down in price a lot since I bought mine. I paid $189 for mine and seen one site showing $99. They are discontinued now so they are selling them cheaper because they have newer line up.

I paid 130 for mine. I saw the new line that they have and I wasn't impressed. I liked the one they were discontinuing. Must have been the Brazilian leather. lol. The pants I saw are about the same price. They have the armor in the hips and Knees. I hear the pants are kind of hard to get right, you know, so the knee pads actually line up with your own. I might have to go to Cycle Gear and see if they will let me try on a pair first. Maybe that will give me a better idea of what size to get.
