make it a Club. Gang has a negative sound to it. My Club was just started.. Just make sure your back patch is not used by someone local. Try to find a place that does alot of patches and have them make a logo or design for you all..

If you're going for joy rides without any responsibilities then Riding Club is more than enough, from what I've heard in case of RC you don't need to obtain "confirmation" from leading Motorcycle Clubs.

I have no idea what 2-piece and 3-piece patches are, let alone any ancillary adornments.

Either way if you want the cops to leave you alone get with the AMA and get your club set up through them as either a riding club or a mc.

1%er's will have an issue with your colors if they are similar to there own. You also need to contact any of the motorcycle clubs in your state and explain to them you want to start a riding club not a motorcycle club. As silly as it sounds you have a lot to do besides just sticking a patch on a jacket....having a motto and a garage to hang out in doesn't make you a gang...lol...but if you disrespect a real motorcycle club it could cause issues for you, so you need to get in contact with them and see if they approve...and if they don't...just ride without the patch.

Being a GANG memeber is ILLEGAL in most juristictions. I advise going the MC CLUB or Riding Club route. READ the info CD posted. It will keep the Outlaw clubs from causing grief. IN FACT, if there are any 1% type Clubs in your area. You would be wise to consult them before wearing any kind of "Colors" or even forming a MC Club or Riders Group. Stay with a 1 piece bordered patch to avoid mistaken identity, when you are away from home. The T-shirt route, Soft Colors, is where I would lean. Remember if you model yourself after someone like SOA you will be treated as such. You will also be laughed at by REAL clubs.

The LEO types see all patched or labeled clubs as potential gangs.
