I do sometimes... 200 kms round trip. Only problem is, I am on the road at 0430 hrs in the morning and the highway I take, is riddled with deer... I usually ride when I go in on nightshift. That way, it's light when I head in and the sun is rising when I head home...

I ride to work as long as the weather is fine. Even in colder weather. 32 miles round trip. Most of the time I work midnight shifts.

For 130 mile round trip It would have to be snow or ice to keep me from riding. Gas cost to much to take the truck.

^^^ That pretty much is my case too. Left the bike home today because we're having some big storms this morning. I work second shift. Naturally, it didn't rain today and would have been a very nice ride in. First time since I got the bike and got legal (about 2 weeks) that I haven't ridden to work. I really missed it. Will see how the radar looks tomorrow.

I ride when I can. I work nights so ride in with sunlight and home around 10 at night. Deer all over the place so take it pretty easy going home. 18 miles each way.

I ride to work every day I can. Temperature is not usually an object. I rode my Rebel all winter, even when the temps got into the mid 20's. If it's raining when it's time to go, I don't ride. If the forecast calls for rain, it's a toss-up. Yesterday, it called for rain, wasn't raining when i left for work, didn't rain a single drop all night. Wasted a good ride. Tonight, no rain, so i rode. It's raining now at 2am. I m hoping for clear weather at 7am on my 9.5 mile ride home. I have a rain suit if it's wet. Even waxed my visor to try and get the rain to not stick to it so much. I couldn't find my Rain-x.
