Lookin' quite good so far man, those handle bars are pretty sweet - how's that riding position/reach working out for ya?
Suggestions would be different pipes and seat. I think some shorter pipes would work really well with the style of handle bars you have going on, a springer seat would look killer too but, obviously that wouldn't work for you're old lady.

I went with a 12gauge steel fender, welded bungs inside the fender and bolted through the factory fender supports. I can't say it's 100% the right way to go about it but she is solid as a rock!
Dig the bars!

These pics are from my project to remove the rear fender...happy with the way it came out...at least for now got new smaller bullet signals and a side mount license plate and brake light bracket in the mail. Also once my jet kit comes in I'll be cutting the exhaust and heat wrapping it...let me know what you think and any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Update on the build
Replaced both front and rear signals with LED signals lowered front and rear 2 1/2" heat wrapped exhaust and still waiting for a rainy day to put the jet kit in. Also got a 40t rear sprocket awaiting a new 120 link x-ring chain. Let me know what you think. Hopefully will be plasti-dipping the wheels and other bits n pieces soon. Too much chrome!!!
