Take a camera to share the ride with us and stop enough times to use it!
Enjoy yourself.

Smile and have a great time, the miles will go by all too quick. Do keep track of your fuel level, even with a fuel gauge now , I always reset the trip, good habit learned from the Shadow. Enjoy and ride safe.

Bottled water and sunscreen. Went on a 200+ mile poker run without sun screen once. I was well-done.

Oil, coolant and a funnel. Make sure you have your toolkit. Did about 300 miles Saturday and my stuff came in handy when my buddy hit a pothole 30 miles into the trip and blew his coolant reservoir! He still made it the entire way...

Hmmmmm, I first thought that you meant you were going on a ride at 100+ mph. That would have been a cool thread to read.

Water or Gatorade. You don't notice it while riding, but you dehydrate out there in the wind. Keep a few energy or granola type bars on hand in case you get the munchies between eateries. TP in a sealable bag.

As noted, watch your trip meter and be aware of distances between gas stations.

And enjoy the ride. When you start over thinking things remind yourself to "just ride."
