The MSC helped me a lot! I loved the class and thought it was great fun. Since then it's been riding everyday and adding to my skills. I think that's one of the fun things about riding. There is so much to learn I don't think you will ever stop learning if you are trying to. Sure, I'm a long long way from the proficiency of some of these guys here, but I plan to have lots of fun getting there!

Find an empty parking lot and spend as long and often as it takes to get your confidence back. Cut some tennis balls in half and use as markers. Set up some weaves and U-turns and quick stops and ride at your own pace without the pressure of traffic.

I have somewhat of an opposite experience. When started riding, the thought that falling is a matter of "when", not "if"... would scare me a bit. After my one and only "landing" I got over it - it finally happened, and surviving it gave me confidence that I feel is a bit excessive, I have to remind myself that not all crashes are that "minor". Never want to crash again, but kind of feel content that I've got one under my belt, you know that feeling like " I've paid (at least some of) my dues". Not all crashes are minor, but the opposite is also true - not all crashes are major, either. We just hope and pray that God has mercy (so many other ways to get hurt in life), and enjoy living, while you can.
