Had the "X" now for going on the 4th year. Still got the Spirit in the family. Both are Pledge babied.

I will join in here and try to give anyone any support I can with my limited pool of experience to draw from…

i have been looking for the right vtx for me and i am going to bite the bullet February 16th i will be the proud owner of the vtx 1800r a friend of mine is in the service and wants to sell his bike he is coming home February 15th and we are going to make the sell on the 16th he has not rode it in 2 years his brother has been riding it and keeping it going while he is away its a 03 and im getting a great deal on it for only having 9k miles. since he has been in Germany he has gotten into crotch rockets and his brother owns a Harley and will only drive the Honda for him when its dark he says he dont want to get caught on a Honda lol so im counting down days lol.

OK, found the VTX area..just did an upload of my bike..she is a beauty! She will improve over time as well....might jet kit her, new pipes, K&N air filter....that outta do it! A dream on the freeway...

A friend of mine has a (I think)03 VTX 1800 and he loves the thing, Sounds real good too, I find it to feel a little heavy but I'm used to my shadow but WOW was that VTX a nice ride.

i'll throw in a pic of mine, but really i'm trying to find out what's going on on the vtx cafe site.


edit: should have added it's an 1800c, with "f" wheels.

i can't even get on the cafe home page, or get on the site at all. i get a message saying i need to log on, while at the same time getting a message that the login info isn't secure so i haven't tried it.

Now why am I getting a log-in box from vtxcafe when I look at a post from you canyon? Maybe your (oops) pic is linked there?
