This summer most of my miles have been on the Concours.
Man, I love the smoothness of the 4 cyl engine!

I wouldn't trade my 04 1100 Spirit for anything, but I've changed to a BMW G650GS for my commuter bike. It's hard to argue with 64 mpg.

I searched for a forum that would be of benefit to my wife when she got her Honda Shadow. Searches led me to this forum and we joined. Since the date of joining I have picked up numerous tips on what to do and what not to do when wrenching on a Honda. Lo and behold, my wife's Regulator crapped out and this forum showed me the way to the "three yellow wire fix". Every forum has a share of folks who may be a bit off kilter and this one is no exception. Even at that, I remain a member for the technical experience offered by members, the humor, the photos/videos, advice, poems...just to name a few of the reasons. So, let me get back on this thread's subject matter - I ride a 1997 H-D FLSTC.

Love your version of the Connie bullet proof engine and the perfect commuter for back roads or interstate!

Yeah, me too. Glad I did because I can't stand conflict, disagreements, stuff like that.

This was the best thread I've seen in a long time. Pure gold.
