Thumbs up "Bullet" Bags - cheap and easy..

I stopped by the local Honda dealer this morning and picked up a River Road 'Classic Fork Bag' (12"W x 4"H x 5"D) for the Shadow. I needed something to hold my phone, wallet, keys, etc while riding. And I don't want huge bags on it if they are going to be pretty much empty. So I picked up this $30 Fork Bag and tried it out:

Looks fine to me.
But I wanted to try out something different. And I think I like it. I call it a "Bullet" Bag, or Bags of I would have picked up two:

I think it looks pretty sweet . Never seen them mounted like this before. But then again I don't get around much..

I could probably use some support brackets to hold up the bag and make it look better, although it doesn't rub the fender like it sits. Here are the details on the bag:

Hope you enjoyed!

My wife had that identical bag on the front of her Spirit. One thing to watch for, at speed, the lid will open, even w/ that long piece of Velcro. Other then that, it's a great lil bag.

Yup, I have one mounted on my bag bars just to have a little storage at my right hand. Lost my prescription glasses just west of Fredrick Md. on my way to the East Coast Rally last year.

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting another one for the other side. Works great for everything I use it for, quick trips to the auto parts store, hardware store, gas station, etc.

I don't have any problems with them coming open at 80+ mph whatsoever.
