Since Chicagoland is so big I have no idea where you live. But there is a Leather shop in Richmond, IL called Kelly's that will custom make a leather jacket for you. It won't be cheap and they do excellent work. They are on Route 12 just this side of the Wisconsin border. There is also a leather shop on Northwest Hwy in Palatine.
