Anyone else like to go for evening rides, and keep an eye out for nice location to see the sunset...?

And a guy kite boarding. Man, 40 degress out and this guy is kiteboarding.

That's funny, I was down there on the shadow around 6. Little chilly but it was nice.

And, You live in Austin TX..? Fairly close to Texas Hill COuntry....?
I have been there twice, and my all time favorite wanna-go-back-but-probably-never-can place for mocycle ride.

Maybe I shgould send you a picture of peir in January.

I left house about 6, so just missed yah.
Stayed there till almost 7. Sunset attracted lots of folks, was about a traffic jam down there.

Stop somewhere for sunset picture.

(might be a tricky thing to do with cell phone cameras, or small point-n-shot digital camera. I have a point-n-shoot. Took a while to work out what works better.)

Nice pictures! I will wait till it warms up, probably be next spring and then I'll attempt to get some sunset and/or sunrise pictures. Lol.

It's funny how we sometimes take things for granted,,,sun raise sun set.. in 2010 when I did my out west treck on the bike from CT ..I'd leave at 7:00am and ride till 7:pm ish approx 500-600 miles a day ...On my way I'd take in the sites I could,and every night at dinner I'd ask a local "where's the best place or road to take to see the sunset?" most would look at me like I was crazy...then everyone would chime in with their ideas..just like those old cowboy movies,,,there's nothing like riding into the sunset out west....

On my way back east I got to see the sunset over the great Lakes and then southeast the ocean... ALL GREAT thanks for bringing back those memories
