if YOU like it then paint it that way... there is NOTHING WRONG with this paint scheme, its totally up to YOUR discretion!

I don't think he's looking for any ones approval, I'm thinking he wants our opinions on it, I'm not liking it that much, kind of reminds me of a bad 80's tv show bike. Maybe with a different Color or different shade of red but that shade looks like something Michael Jackson would ride up on in the 80's wearing one glove
