To wave, or not to wave?

Why do you wave? If it's to get a return wave, I guess I'd quit if I were you.

If it's to acknowledge another motorbike enthusiast who is facing the same perils as you are out among the cagers, I guess I'd continue to wave and not worry about the wave back

95% of the riders in Maine return the wave or initiate the wave.

i wave at all bikers and get a wave back 8 out of 10 times when the biker looks my way.

when waving to other riders, be sure to extend all of your fingers, not just the middle finger

I live in Nw Georgia and ride in Georgia , Tennessee, Alabama mostly and waving seems to be common practice all around here but it does seem to be a little less common for the people on the touring bikes and the preppies on the BMW's for what ever reasons ?

I used to try to wave to everyone, but since I ride every day to work rain or shine year round it really gets old fast.

Come winter when its 25 degrees in the mornings I'll most likely wave at the few riders that didn't store their bikes for winter.

I ride through the Winter too, but not nearly as much.

There's something about Spring, though, that gets everyone's motor running.

Do unto others .... Sometimes others may not see yourwave or may have their hands busy or may be focused on traffic conditions.
