you can have them where ever you want, once you know what you like the look of, then you can figure out how to get them there.
I've got LED strips that run on the inner side of the fork shrouds under the bottom yoke - not what you'd call legal but never mind. Thing is, it's your bike, so you have about a million different designs for indicators/housings, then you have the standard options of on the grips, the mirrors, forks, etc etc, then you can have all the custom options of making something that works. In a world where things were unrestricted, where would you have them? My 96 VT1100C has the turnsignals on the handlebars. I am still wondering how I can install a batwings style fairing with them there. They will be hidden behind the fairing where they are.
