Took a ride today along the CT River to Gillette"s Castle..42 degrees windy, and 40 -70 mph driving = approx 8 degrees (with wind chill) made for a sunny windy COLD or chilly ride LOL none of the bikes over heated,,approx 200 miles round trip Thank God for Leathers

I hear ya, brother. I ride year round myself, in the past week here in Bama, in my area of the state, it's been in the low thirties in the morning when I leave out. Sandy had the wind all bent out of shape too, so I feel ya. lol I've been wearing camo hunting bibs this season with my leather jacket and face mask (which absolutely does me no good when it continues to keep sliding down off my nose and ain't covering my face). I desperately need a new set of chaps and some new thermals. That's a beautiful pic btw, and hope you enjoyed your trip.

I hear ya man!!! I'm down here in southern CT. I was supposed to go riding with some friends in NY today. But gas stations down here are either out of gas/power or the line for gas is down the street. So I rode a little around my town and 95. My body was pretty warm do to having 4 layers on but my hands were freezing. I haven't found the right gloves for cold weather.

Monday Morning (Nov. 5th) I'm biking down to the Bronx, meeting my NYPD Bros for a ride detail,,,after breakfast we head up state (Middletown area) then after maybe Bear Mnt. (hoping I have enough gas to get in & OUT of the city) still 2 - 3 hour wait lines for gas...once you're outside the city or up state not so bad..
