OMG it has to either get cold or stay hot this weather has had me down this year i started with a cold that turned into the flu and had to go back to the doctor today now i have pneumonia and to top it off i have taken so cold meds that have caused me to breakout into a rash all over that is itching like crazy OMG will this ever end.......i am suppose to leave in 2 day to go to Columbia S.C
my son is going to finish up basic training and with all of us going me and the wife must ride the bike.. this is gonna be fun....

I know the weather sucks. We had a continuous non-stop rain (Sandy residue) for seven days, mixed in with below-normal temperatures with highs in the 40's F. Cold, wet, clammy, and unremittingly grey, overcast days.

Barf.

The better days keep moving further away as they get closer: The forecasts were predicting clearing (though not warming) weather on Friday (nope, didn't happen) but that got moved to Saturday (nope...though a little bit of sun came through in the afternoon), then Sunday (no...grey skies and cold). Maybe Monday now?

I'm usually an all weather (except for snow/ice) rider but, after a while, one just gets worn down. It's a recipe for colds and flu.

So the bike sits for now.

I'm using the time to figure out how to use Garmin Basecamp so I can (fingers crossed) maybe plan an epic trip to Sturgis next year.
